Russian scientist, metallurgical engineer, Candidate of Technical Sciences.
In 1998, he graduated from the Metallurgical Faculty of the St. Petersburg State Mining Institute named after G.V.Plekhanov with a degree in metallurgy of ferrous, non-ferrous and rare metals and defended his engineering diploma on the topic related to the processing of resistant arsenic ores of precious metals. In 2001, he graduated from the full-time postgraduate course of the St. Petersburg State Mining Institute named after G.V. Plekhanov and defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the topic: "Improvement of the method of synthesis of calcium bicarboaluminate in alumina production and its use as a multifunctional coagulant." After graduating from graduate school, he worked as a process engineer at JSC Polymetal, took part in the launch of a number of gold mining factories.
The areas of scientific interests of G.G. Klimentenka include: the study of processes related to the complex processing of natural and man-made raw materials of complex composition, as well as the development of new methods of ore preparation and enrichment using shock-detonation mechanisms.
