Dragan Radenovich

He was born in Sarajevo in 1951. Sculptor, Master of Arts, Doctor of Art History, Reserve Lieutenant General, member of a number of prestigious international scientific and artistic organizations, including honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, professor at Harvard University. In September 2002, Dragan Radenovic was a candidate for the Serbian presidential election. On March 1, 2024, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Putin, V.V. received Russian citizenship.
Education
Dragan Radenovich has a higher legal education. From 1973 to 1987 he worked in the Federal Secretariat of Internal Affairs, in the State Security Service of Yugoslavia.
He was the National Security Advisor of Serbia and Montenegro from 2003 to 2004.

He also graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1982. He holds a Master of Arts degree and a PhD degree.

Achievements
Radenovich made the greatest contribution in the field of art, art pedagogy and art theory. His sculptures are in important world museums and private collections. He is the author of sculptures for two important annual awards in Hollywood, California: the Mary Pickford Award and the Nikola Tesla Award. Winner of the first prize for sculpture by the Taylor Foundation for the work "The Eye of the All-Seeing" at the exhibition at the Grand Palais Paris in 2010.
He has participated in dozens of solo exhibitions and several hundred collective exhibitions at home and abroad. Winner of the prize for artistic achievements and contribution to the development of art theory. The workshop and sculpture park of the sculptor Radenovich are located on the Gypsy Brdo above the Grotskaya, near Belgrade.

As a professor at the Art Academy, Radenovich teaches the basic sculptural discipline of modeling and theory of visual communication language. He is a member of many international creative and scientific organizations and a participant in important projects. Since 1980, he has been a member of the Association of Artists of Serbia, a member and founder of JUSTAT. He is a member of the American Association of Artists, the Guild of Sculptors and the International Association of Artists at the United Nations.

In 1979, he was the Secretary of the Department for Logistics and Systems at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Belgrade.
He is a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts, which was founded in 1757 by Empress Catherine the Great as the Imperial Academy of Arts. Currently, this academy is the oldest institution of its kind in the world.
